Making Bagels and Bagel Sandwiches

Bagels are a versatile bread in this mod. A plain Bagel can be upgraded into Bagel with Cream Cheese or Bagel with Salmon, making them excellent travel food.

Baking Bagels

1. Gather flour (from wheat or barley, depending on the recipe) and water.

2. Craft the bagel dough, then bake it. Bagels typically require boiling before baking in real life, but in the mod they are usually a straightforward crafting-plus-furnace recipe.

3. Once baked, you have a plain Bagel.

Turning Bagels into Sandwiches

• Bagel with Cream Cheese: combine a Bagel with cream cheese (made from milk, similar to butter but a separate process).
• Bagel with Salmon: combine a Bagel with cooked salmon and cream cheese.

Both variants restore more hunger than a plain bagel and are good for exploration because they stack. Make a batch of plain bagels first, then split them between the two sandwich recipes depending on what ingredients you have. If you have a cow and a fishing spot nearby, you can sustain a steady supply of both cream cheese and salmon.
