Maximizing Ore Visibility in Deep Caves

Understand Ore Glow Mechanics

Majestico Pro Shaders automatically highlights ore blocks in dark underground environments. The glow intensity depends on ambient light levels—ores glow most visibly in complete darkness, such as deep caves and ravines far below the surface.

Optimize Your Exploration Setup

To best see glowing ores, minimize competing light sources. Avoid carrying torches or place them behind you rather than ahead. This allows your eyes to adapt to darker conditions and makes ore glow stand out more clearly against the stone.

Locate Ore-Rich Areas

Focus exploration on deep ravines and cave systems below Y-level 0 (or your world's deepest accessible layers). Ores glow more noticeably in these pitch-black environments compared to shallow caves with ambient light.

Adjust Shader Settings if Needed

If ore glow feels too subtle or overwhelming, access shader settings and look for Ore Glow or Emissive Block intensity controls. Increase the value to make ores pop more dramatically, or decrease it for a more subtle effect.

Mine Efficiently

The enhanced visibility lets you spot valuable ores faster, reducing time spent searching and improving your mining efficiency.
