Whitelist Players to Access During Maintenance

Add Players to the Maintenance Whitelist

Only whitelisted players can connect when maintenance mode is active. You need to add their usernames to the approved list.

1. Open your mod's configuration or whitelist file

2. Locate the whitelist or allowed-players section

3. Add player usernames, one per line or in a list format depending on your config structure

4. Save the file

5. Reload the mod or restart your server

Using LuckPerms Integration

If your server uses LuckPerms, you can assign a permission node to players instead of manually editing the whitelist. Players with the appropriate permission (typically maintenancemode.bypass or similar) will automatically bypass the maintenance kick.

Verify Access

Have a whitelisted player attempt to join during maintenance mode. They should connect successfully. Have a non-whitelisted player try to join—they should receive your custom kick message. This confirms your whitelist is working correctly.
