Understand Dev Build Updates

MagicLib Dev automatically publishes new builds whenever code changes are pushed to the main project. These updates happen frequently and may not always include detailed changelogs. Dev builds are meant for testing, so expect potential instability.

Replace the Old Mod File

To update, remove the old MagicLib Dev jar file from your mods folder and download the latest dev build. Launch Minecraft to load the new version.

Check for Breaking Changes

After updating, load your world and test any dependent magic mods. Watch for crashes or missing features that might indicate compatibility issues with the new build. If problems occur, check if dependent mods also need updates.

Report Issues if Found
