Locating the Structure

The Mages Guild is a large, distinctive building that generates naturally as you explore the Overworld. Look for a multi-story stone structure with a prominent teal dome and purple-tinted windows—it's hard to miss once you know what you're searching for.

Search strategy:

• Travel outward from your spawn point in any direction
• The structure spawns at ground level in standard Overworld terrain
• Climbing to high ground or using a tall vantage point helps you spot the dome from distance
• If you're in a modpack with a minimap mod, enable structure markers to locate it faster

Preparing for Entry

Before entering, gather combat supplies:

• Bring a sword (iron or better) and a bow with arrows
• Wear armor for protection against ranged attacks
• Pack healing items like food or potions
• Bring blocks for building escape routes if needed
• A pickaxe helps you mine through walls if you get trapped

The building contains Pillagers, Vindicators, and Evokers, so don't enter unprepared. Scout the exterior first to plan your approach.
