MaFgLib Mod Guide

What MaFgLib Does

MaFgLib is a library mod, not a content mod. It does not add blocks, items, or mobs on its own. Instead, it provides a shared code base that other mods can depend on, so those mods do not have to rebuild the same systems from scratch.

What It Provides

MaFgLib bundles several common components used by mods built on Masa's code base:

  • A configurable options system
  • A key binding system
  • Support for most GUI code
  • Other reusable utilities for mod developers

It also adds a ModConfigScreenRegister, which lets dependent mods register their own configuration screen through this library.

What This Means for Players

If you install MaFgLib alone, you will not see new gameplay. It exists to support other mods that rely on it. If a mod lists MaFgLib as a dependency, install it alongside that mod so its config screens, key binds, and GUI features work correctly.
