How to Use Crystal Floor Blocks in Macaw's Paths and Pavings
What Crystal Floor Is
Crystal floor is one of the mod's pattern families, available in andesite and blackstone. It has a polished, faceted look that resembles cut stone or glass-like tiles. Like the other patterns, it comes as a full block, a path, a slab, and stairs, so you can use it across floors, walkways, and steps.
Where to Use It
Crystal floor works well in magical, modern, or ornate builds. Use it as a floor in an enchanting room, a throne room, or a wizard's tower. Because it is reflective-looking, it pairs nicely with dark materials like blackstone and with light sources such as lanterns or sea lanterns set into the floor.
Crafting and Placing
Craft crystal floor from your base stone following the mod's recipe, then convert to path, slab, or stair variants as needed. Place full blocks for main floors, slabs for raised platforms, and stairs for steps. The path version is thin and suits walkways that should not create a step.
Tips
- Use crystal floor as an accent strip inside a plainer paving to suggest a glowing inlay.
- Combine crystal floor slabs with full blocks to create a two-tone floor.
- In dark rooms, place light sources under or beside crystal floor to make the pattern pop.
