How to Choose the Right Painting Size for Your Build
Understanding Painting Sizes
Macaw's Paintings adds paintings in a range of sizes, from small single-block pieces to large multi-block canvases. The size that appears depends on the free wall space where you right-click. The game picks a painting that fits the available area, so the wall you choose directly controls which sizes you can get.
Matching Paintings to Wall Space
1. Decide how large you want the artwork to be. For a small accent, use a single block of free wall surrounded by other blocks.
2. For a medium piece, clear a wider rectangular area with no torches, buttons, or other blocks in the way.
3. For a large statement painting, clear a big flat wall section. The more open space, the larger the painting that can spawn.
4. Right-click with the painting item and cycle with additional right-clicks until the design and size suit your build.
Practical Building Advice
Plan your wall before placing. If you want a large painting as a centerpiece, leave the surrounding area empty until the painting is placed, then decorate around it. If a painting spawns too small, break it, widen the free space, and try again. Combining different sizes on one wall lets you create gallery-style arrangements. Remember that paintings need a solid backing block behind them, so build your wall first.
