Crafting Roof Pieces

Roof blocks are typically crafted using planks and slabs in a crafting table. For example, a roof might require three planks and three slabs in a specific pattern. Balconies are often made with planks, fences, and slabs. Bridge supports and stairs are crafted similarly. The exact recipes vary by piece, so use JEI to look them up.

Placement and Design

Roof pieces are designed to be placed in a staggered pattern to create slopes. Start at the bottom edge and work upwards, overlapping each row. Balconies attach to the side of a building and can be supported with fence posts or bridge supports underneath. Use the bridge stair and support blocks to create arched walkways.
