Storing Items with Macaw's Biomes O' Plenty Bookshelves and Drawers

Macaw's Biomes O' Plenty adds functional storage blocks like bookshelves, drawers, and wardrobes that fit the mod's aesthetic. These are perfect for organizing your base while keeping a consistent theme.

Crafting Storage Blocks

Bookshelves are crafted with planks and books, similar to vanilla bookshelves but with different wood types. Drawers and cupboards require planks and chests or other materials. For example, a double drawer might need two chests and planks. Check JEI for exact recipes. Some blocks like the cupboard bookshelf combine storage with display.

Using Storage

Place these blocks and right-click to access their inventory. Drawers typically have a single slot but can hold a large stack of one item—great for bulk storage. Wardrobes have multiple slots for various items. Counters and desks may have small inventories or just be decorative. Use them in kitchens, offices, or libraries. Remember that some blocks have different variants, like single or double, so choose according to your space. You can also use them as decorative elements even if you don't need storage.
