Load and Manage Companion Addon Projects

Understanding Companion Mods

LYIVX's Core Mod acts as a foundation for companion addon projects—such as furniture packs or feature extensions. These addons require the core mod to load their classes and features properly inside the game.

Installing Companion Addons

Place companion addon mods in your mods folder alongside LYIVX's Core Mod. When you launch Minecraft, the core mod automatically detects and initializes the companion addons, loading their required backend files and features.

Verifying Successful Loading

Check your game log (accessible via the launcher) for messages confirming that companion addons have loaded. If an addon fails to load, ensure LYIVX's Core Mod is present and up to date—missing or outdated core files are the most common cause.

Configuring Addon Features

Once loaded, companion addon settings appear in the Mod Menu config screen alongside core mod options. Adjust addon-specific settings there, and changes will apply to that addon's functionality in-game.
