Optimize Shader Performance on Older Hardware
Identify Performance Bottlenecks
Launch Minecraft with Luxora and monitor your frame rate in demanding areas—caves with many light sources, water-heavy biomes, or large bases. Luxora is designed for older systems, but optimization may still be needed.
Reduce Reflection Quality
Water reflections are beautiful but can impact performance. Lower the reflection resolution or disable real-time reflections if needed, switching to simpler reflection approximations.
Adjust Bloom and Glow Settings
Reduce bloom radius and intensity incrementally. These effects are relatively cheap but still contribute to overall load. Dial them back until performance improves.
Lower Shadow Quality
If available, reduce shadow resolution or disable shadow filtering. Softer shadows are less demanding than sharp, detailed ones.
Disable Advanced Features Selectively
Look for toggles for ambient occlusion, parallax mapping, or other advanced effects. Disable them one at a time and test performance to find what impacts your system most.
Maintain Visual Quality
Luxora's strength is delivering good looks on weak hardware. You should still see warm tones and improved lighting even with optimizations applied. Adjust settings until you find your balance between visuals and frame rate.
