Adjust Water Reflection Quality and Clarity
Access Shader Settings
Open the Shader Options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your controls menu under "Shader Options"). Look for the water-related settings panel.
Configure Reflection Parameters
Locate the water reflection settings. You'll typically find options to adjust:
- Reflection clarity: Controls how sharp and detailed water reflections appear
- Reflection intensity: Determines how strongly reflections show on the water surface
- Ripple effect: Adjusts wave distortion that affects reflection visibility
Fine-Tune for Your System
If you experience frame rate drops, reduce reflection quality incrementally. Start by lowering clarity or intensity by one step, then test performance in a river or ocean biome. Luxora is optimized for older hardware, but very high reflection settings may still impact weaker systems.
For best results, enable reflections fully on capable machines to see the shader's intended effect—water should mirror sky, clouds, and nearby terrain realistically.
Apply and Test
Save your changes and visit different water bodies at various times of day. Reflections should be most visible during bright daylight and golden hour sunsets.
