Understanding Hotbar Visibility

The Nyan Cat graphic is part of the hotbar background texture. During intense combat or when your screen is cluttered, the design may blend into the action. You can enhance visibility by adjusting contrast and brightness in the resource pack's texture files.

Increasing Contrast

Open the hotbar texture file in an image editor and increase the contrast between the cat graphic and the background. Brighten the cat's outline or add a subtle shadow/border around it to make it pop against the rainbow. You can also increase the saturation of the rainbow colors to make them more vibrant and easier to distinguish at a glance.

Applying and Testing

Save your modified texture, then reload the resource pack using F3+T in-game. Switch between hotbar slots rapidly to ensure the cat graphic remains clear and readable. If the changes feel too extreme, dial back the adjustments incrementally until you find a balance between visibility and aesthetic appeal.
