Installation and Setup

Luminous Flux Patch Mod is a compatibility layer that works automatically once installed alongside your visual effect mods. It requires no configuration—simply place it in your mods folder.

The mod detects which visual mods you have installed and activates relevant features. If you run Effective and Wakes together, boat wakes will display glowing plankton and splash droplets. Combining Effectual with Effective enables custom bubble particles from underwater sources. Particle Rain integration replaces water ripples when both mods are present.

All cosmetic changes are optional and controlled by which mods you choose to install. Beyond visuals, the mod automatically clears memory caches during world reloads and respawns, preventing performance degradation during long play sessions. No manual cache clearing is needed.
