Reduce Foliage Sway for Building or Photography
Open Shader Configuration
Access the shader settings menu during gameplay. Navigate to the Foliage, Animation, or Movement section depending on how your shader organizes options.
Disable or Lower Sway Effects
Find the setting controlling leaf and plant movement. Options typically include:
- Foliage Sway Strength: Reduces the intensity of swaying motion
- Wind Effect: Toggles or scales the wind-driven animation
- Animation Speed: Slows down or stops the gentle movement
Setting these to minimum or disabling them entirely freezes leaves, tall grass, and plants in place, making them ideal for detailed building screenshots or when you want a still, focused view.
Verify Changes
Walk through a forest or grassy area to confirm foliage no longer sways. This is especially useful when constructing detailed structures surrounded by vegetation, as stationary plants won't distract from your work or obscure your view.
