Enhance Sun Rays and Volumetric Lighting
Access Lighting Settings
Open the shader options menu and locate the Lighting, Sun Rays, or Volumetric section. This controls how light scatters through the atmosphere and around the sun.
Adjust Ray Intensity and Density
Look for settings such as:
- Sun Ray Strength: Increases or decreases the visibility of light beams from the sun
- Volumetric Fog Density: Controls how thick light scattering appears in the air
- Ray Length: Extends or shortens how far rays project across the sky
Higher values create more dramatic, cinematic lighting effects—ideal for exploration or creative screenshots. Lower values provide a cleaner, less atmospheric look.
Test in Different Conditions
Sun rays are most visible during sunrise, sunset, and when the sun is partially obscured by terrain or clouds. Navigate to elevated areas or open spaces at different times of day to see how your adjustments affect the overall mood and visibility of lighting effects.
