Make Night Vision and Low-Light Environments Visible
Understand Ambient Lighting
Luminous Breeze includes subtle ambient illumination for night scenes. This means caves and nighttime aren't pitch-black—you'll see enough to navigate without torches, though lighting is dim and atmospheric.
Increase Ambient Light Settings
Open shader settings and locate ambient brightness or night sky illumination controls. Raise these values to brighten caves and dark areas. This won't eliminate the need for torches in deep mines, but it makes exploration less tedious.
Use Torches Strategically
Place torches to supplement ambient light. Luminous Breeze's soft shadows mean torchlight blends naturally with the shader's lighting system, creating realistic pools of warmth without harsh edges.
Adjust for Your Preference
If you prefer complete darkness for survival challenge, leave ambient settings low. If you want visibility without constant light sources, increase them moderately. Test in caves and at night to find your comfort zone. The shader's clean design means even brightened nights maintain atmosphere.
