Enhance Building Appearance with Shader Lighting
Position Builds for Optimal Sun Angles
Luminous Breeze's realistic sun rays are most visible when structures face the sun. Build with awareness of daylight direction. Tall structures and overhangs cast soft, grounded shadows that emphasize depth and dimension.
Use Block Shadows Effectively
The shader's soft block shadows make structures appear more three-dimensional. Build with varied heights and layered details—these cast interesting shadows that enhance visual appeal. Flat, single-layer builds benefit less from the shader's shadow system.
Combine Lighting with Architecture
Place light sources (torches, lanterns, glowstone) to complement natural lighting. During day, these provide accent lighting. At night, they become primary light sources with soft halos that look natural under Luminous Breeze. Avoid harsh, over-lit builds.
Test at Different Times
View your build at sunrise, noon, sunset, and night. Luminous Breeze's lighting changes throughout the day cycle, so structures look different at each time. Design with this variation in mind for builds that remain visually interesting across the full day.
