Adjust Lighting Intensity for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game. Press the key bound to open the shader GUI (typically accessed through your mod menu or by pressing a designated hotkey). Look for the Luminous Breeze settings panel.

Modify Brightness Controls

Locate the brightness or exposure slider. Increase it if daytime feels too dim or you want more vibrant landscapes. Decrease it if the sun feels harsh or if you prefer moodier lighting. Test changes in different biomes and times of day—desert biomes will look brighter than forests even with identical settings.

Fine-Tune Shadow Softness

Find the shadow softness or penumbra setting. Higher values create softer, more diffused shadows that feel gentler on the eyes. Lower values produce sharper, more defined shadows for dramatic contrast. Adjust based on your monitor and personal preference.

Save and Apply

Confirm your changes. Most shader packs apply settings immediately, so you'll see results in real-time. If performance drops, reduce shadow quality or brightness slightly—Luminous Breeze is designed to stay lightweight, but extreme settings may impact frame rates on older hardware.
