Installation and Basic Use

Lumina Event Horizon Shaders is a shader mod that overhauls your world's lighting and shadows for a cinematic appearance. After installation, the shader activates automatically in your world—no configuration needed to see the effect.

The mod works by changing how light bounces between blocks and how shadows cast across surfaces, items, and mobs. Your blocks retain their vanilla appearance, but the lighting makes everything look dramatically more realistic and film-like.

Performance Note: This shader is designed for high-end computers. Expect significant performance impact on lower-end systems. If your frame rate drops noticeably, consider reducing render distance or lowering other graphics settings to compensate.
