Survive Your First Lucky Block Breaks Without Falling
Position Yourself Safely
Before breaking the central block, stand at least two blocks away from the edge of your island. This gives you reaction time if hostile mobs spawn or lava erupts. Wear armor if you have it, even basic leather provides crucial protection against sudden damage.
Break and Collect Quickly
Approach the block and break it with your tool. Items will drop immediately—prioritize grabbing them before they despawn or fall into the void. Valuable drops like diamonds and ores should be collected first. If lava appears, back away immediately and let it cool or flow off the island.
Manage Mob Spawns
When zombies, skeletons, or other hostile mobs appear, create distance by backing toward your safe zone. If your island is small, jump and strafe to avoid their attacks. Use any weapons you've collected to fight back, or retreat to higher ground you've built.
Expand Your Platform Early
Use the dirt and wood blocks you receive to build outward from the center. A larger platform gives you more space to dodge traps and mobs. Build at least a 5×5 area before continuing aggressive block breaking.
