Reduce Fire Overlay Height for Better Combat Visibility

Why Lower Fire Matters in PvP

When you're burning during combat, the default fire animation can obscure your opponent's position, health bar, and incoming attacks. This pack trims the flame overlay so it sits lower on your screen, keeping your view clear for critical moments.

How to Use It Effectively

1. Enable the resource pack in your resource pack folder and activate it in-game through Settings > Resource Packs.

2. Test in combat scenarios — fight mobs or practice PvP to see how the reduced fire height improves your sightlines.

3. Combine with other visibility packs if needed. Low Fire works alongside most texture packs that don't modify fire textures.

4. Keep fire audio cues in mind — since you can now see better, use the crackling sound to gauge burn damage rather than relying on the visual flame height.

Pro Tip

The lower fire overlay is especially useful in the Nether, where lava and fire are constant hazards. You'll spot Ghasts, Blazes, and terrain changes much faster when flames aren't blocking half your screen.
