Disable the Fire Overlay Completely
Access the Configuration
Low Fire Reborn Mod includes a configuration file that lets you turn off the fire overlay entirely. This is useful if you find even the lowered overlay distracting, or if you prefer a completely unobstructed view while on fire.
Steps to Disable
1. Open your Minecraft installation folder
2. Navigate to the config folder
3. Look for the Low Fire Reborn configuration file (typically named something like lowfire.toml or similar)
4. Open the file with a text editor
5. Find the option that controls the fire overlay visibility (usually labeled enabled, show_overlay, or fire_overlay)
6. Set this value to false or disabled as indicated in the file
7. Save the file
8. Restart Minecraft or reload your world
Once disabled, you will no longer see any fire overlay on your screen when you catch fire, though you will still take fire damage normally. This can be helpful for PvP situations or when navigating dangerous terrain where visibility is critical.
