Recover from Unexpected Tool Switches During Combat or Mining

Immediate Response

If the mod switches your hotbar slot mid-combat or mining, stay calm. You've been moved to a new slot—check what you're now holding. If it's another tool, you can continue your task. If it's something else, quickly switch to a weapon or tool manually.

Prevent Slot Confusion

The mod switches automatically, which can disorient you if you're not expecting it. Develop a habit of glancing at your hotbar every few seconds during extended mining or fighting. This way, a switch won't catch you completely off-guard.

Emergency Repairs

If you find yourself with no usable tools after a switch, retreat to safety immediately. Open your inventory and either:

• Equip a fresh tool from your inventory
• Use an anvil or grindstone to repair your primary tool
• Craft a new basic tool if necessary

Avoid Rapid Switching

If multiple tools in your hotbar are below 10 durability, the mod may switch you repeatedly. This is a sign to stop and repair. Continuing to use low-durability tools will cause constant interruptions and waste time.
