How to Stop Lost Cities Error Spam in Chat and Logs

Silencing Lost Cities Alerts

The Lost Cities Filter Mod is a small patch mod that cleans up annoying error messages produced by the Lost Cities and Lost Cities Modern Tweaks mods. If you have seen repeated text alerts filling your chat box while exploring or building, this mod is designed to hide them.

It works in two places at once. First, it filters the specific warnings out of your in-game chat window, so your screen stays clear during play. Second, it stops the same alerts from being written into your background game logs, keeping those files tidy as well.

Importantly, the mod does not touch world generation or any building mechanics. Everything about how the Lost Cities mod creates and populates its world stays exactly the same. The only change is the removal of the unwanted text spam.

Install it alongside the parent mods and play as normal. No configuration or commands are needed; the filtering happens automatically.
