Troubleshoot Visual Glitches or Artifacts

Check Shader Compatibility

Ensure your graphics driver is up to date. LoShades is designed for broad compatibility, but outdated drivers can cause rendering issues, flickering, or color problems.

Reset Shader Settings

If you see visual artifacts, return all shader options to their defaults. This isolates whether the issue stems from a specific setting or a deeper compatibility problem.

Verify Fog Settings

If fog appears broken, blocky, or doesn't blend smoothly, adjust fog distance and density values. Extreme settings can sometimes cause visual oddities. Return to moderate values and test.

Disable and Re-enable

Temporarily disable the shader pack entirely, then re-enable it. This forces a clean reload of shader code and often resolves temporary glitches.

Check Game Version Compatibility

Confirm that your Minecraft version matches the shader pack's requirements. Mismatches can cause rendering errors. If problems persist after these steps, your hardware may have limitations with certain post-processing effects—reduce effect intensity or disable them selectively.
