How to Hire and Command Units

Recruiting Units

Units can be hired from specific NPCs or through banners placed in the world. Find unit recruiters in settlements and approach them to see available soldiers. Different regions offer different unit types that fit their faction's theme.

Commanding Your Army

Once hired, units will follow you and fight enemies at your side. Right-click units to give orders—you can command them to stay in place, follow you, or attack specific targets. Keep your units close during dangerous encounters for better protection.

Banner Protection

Place banners in strategic locations to create a rally point for your units. Units will defend banners from enemy attacks and return to them if separated from you. This is especially useful when defending a base or settlement. Banners also serve as a visual marker of your territory and faction presence in the world.
