How to Get Better Loot from Valhelsia Structures Chests
What This Addon Actually Changes
Loot Integrations
Valhelsia Structures is a bridge mod. It does not add new chests or structures itself. Instead, it rewrites the loot tables that
Valhelsia Structures uses for its chests, swapping the default rolls for entries pulled from
Loot Integrations' shared loot pools. That means the same castle, tower, or ruin chest you already know will now roll from a wider, mod-aware table.
Steps to See the Improved Loot
1. Make sure both
Loot Integrations and
Valhelsia Structures are installed alongside this addon. The addon does nothing on its own.
2. Generate a fresh world, or explore chunks you have never loaded. Loot tables are baked when a chest is first generated, so chests in already-explored chunks keep their old contents.
3. Locate a
Valhelsia Structures building and open its chests. You should notice more varied stacks, more modded items, and fewer empty or single-item rolls.
4. If you run other loot-adding mods, install their
Loot Integrations compatibility addons too. This addon feeds from the same pool, so more addons means more variety in Valhelsia chests.
If Loot Looks Unchanged
Check that the addon is actually loaded in your mod list. If you added it to an existing world, only newly generated structures will use the new tables. Travel far enough that fresh chunks generate before judging the results.
