Fixing Valhelsia Structures Chests That Still Have Vanilla Loot
Why Chests Can Look Unchanged
Loot tables are resolved when a structure generates, not when you open the chest. If a chunk was created before you installed this addon, its chests were already filled using the old tables. Reinstalling or reordering mods will not retroactively rewrite them.
Checks and Fixes
1. Confirm
Loot Integrations is installed. This addon is an addon, not a standalone mod, and will not function without the core.
2. Confirm
Valhelsia Structures is installed and enabled. Without the target mod, there are no tables to override.
3. Open your mod loader's log and search for the addon's name. If it reports a missing dependency or a load failure, resolve that first.
4. Travel to chunks that have never been generated. Use a new world for the cleanest test. If fresh chests show improved loot, the addon is working and your old chests are simply pre-existing.
5. If fresh chests still look vanilla, check for another datapack or mod that overrides the same Valhelsia loot tables. Load order and datapack priority decide which override wins.
Quick Sanity Test
Create a throwaway world with only
Loot Integrations,
Valhelsia Structures, and this addon enabled. Find one structure and open a chest. If the loot is varied, the problem is a conflict in your main pack, not the addon itself.
