Fixing Empty or Missing Loot in Structory Chests
A common frustration is opening a Structory or Tower chest and finding it empty, or finding loot that does not match what you expect. This is usually a table or generation problem, not a broken mod.
First checks
Confirm the base Structory mods are actually loaded alongside this integration. The integration modifies their tables; without the source structures it has nothing to work with. Also verify you are not running a conflicting data pack that overwrites the same loot table path — the last one loaded wins.
Resolving it
1. Check your loaded data packs for anything touching Structory loot tables and disable duplicates.
2. If you edited tables yourself, compare against the original to spot a malformed entry or a broken JSON file.
3. Run the reload command and watch the log for loot table errors — a syntax mistake silently empties a table.
4. Generate brand-new structures in unexplored chunks; old chests will not retroactively refill.
5. If a specific structure type is affected, isolate whether the problem is that structure's table or a global override.
Empty chests are almost always a data pack conflict or a JSON error rather than a bug in the integration itself.
