Fixing Dungeon Crawl Chests That Still Give Vanilla-Only Loot

Why Chests Look Unchanged

Because this mod only edits loot tables, anything that replaces those tables afterward will undo its work. The most common causes are datapacks, other loot-modifying mods, or structures that were generated before the integration was added.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Check for datapacks that touch Dungeon Crawl loot. Remove or reorder them so the integration's tables load last.

2. Look for other loot mods that also rewrite Dungeon Crawl tables. Two mods editing the same table will conflict, and only one set of changes survives.

3. Test in a brand-new world with only Dungeon Crawl and this integration plus one modded-loot source. If loot diversifies there, the problem is a conflict in your main pack.

4. Remember that already-generated chests keep their stored contents. You must explore newly generated structures to see the change.

5. If you run a server, confirm the mod is present server-side. A client-only install does nothing because loot is rolled by the server.

Confirming the Fix

After adjusting load order, generate a fresh dungeon in a new chunk and open its chests. If you now see items from your other installed mods mixed with vanilla gear, the integration is functioning and the earlier issue was an override.
