How Login Protection Mod Works

Protecting Players During Loading

Login Protection Mod keeps players safe during the moments when they are most exposed: logging in, respawning, or moving between dimensions. During these transitions, the game shows a loading screen, and a player cannot react to danger. Without protection, a player could take damage from mobs, lava, falling, or other hazards before they even regain control.

This mod prevents that. While the loading screen is active, the player is immune to all harm. Once loading finishes and the player can act again, protection ends and normal gameplay resumes.

The mod is primarily designed for server-side use, so a server can install it to protect all connected players without requiring each client to add anything. It also works in single-player mode, covering the same vulnerable transitions there.

Because it targets only these brief windows, it does not change normal combat, fall damage, or any other gameplay outside of loading.
