How to Stack Logical Zoom With the Spyglass for Maximum Zoom

Why Combine Them

The spyglass already magnifies your view, and Logical Zoom applies its own magnification on top of whatever the game is currently rendering. Using both at once gives you the largest possible zoom the mod can produce, which is ideal for spotting distant structures, mobs, or terrain features.

Step-by-Step

1. Craft or obtain a spyglass and put it in your hotbar.

2. Select the spyglass so it is your active item.

3. Use the spyglass as normal (right-click / use key) to raise it to your eye.

4. While still scoped through the spyglass, press your Logical Zoom key.

5. The two magnifications combine, so the image becomes noticeably closer than either effect alone.

Tips

• Keep the zoom key held or toggled for as long as you need the extra magnification.
• Because the combined zoom is very strong, small mouse movements shift the view a lot — move the camera slowly to avoid losing your target.
• If the spyglass scope drops (for example you release the use key), zoom returns to the normal level, so re-scope and re-apply zoom if you want the stacked effect again.
• Make sure your zoom key is not bound to the same key as your use/attack action, or the two inputs will fight each other.
