Rollback griefing or accidental changes

Preparing a rollback

When damage occurs, LogBlock can restore blocks to their previous state. Before rolling back, always verify you're targeting the correct changes to avoid undoing legitimate builds.

Steps:

1. Query the area affected using /lb area <radius> and /lb lookup to see what changed

2. Review the results carefully—check player names, timestamps, and block types

3. Narrow your query with filters like /lb player <name> or /lb time <duration> (e.g., "1h" for the last hour)

4. Once confident, use /lb rollback to undo those specific changes

After the rollback

LogBlock will restore blocks to their state before the logged changes. The rollback itself is also logged, so you have a record of the action. If you need to undo a rollback, use /lb redo to reapply the changes. Always communicate with players affected by rollbacks, especially on multiplayer servers, so they understand why their work was reversed.
