Use Lock On Effectively in PvP
Gaining the Advantage
Lock On is powerful in player-versus-player combat because it keeps your camera centered on your opponent even as they move. Press your Lock On keybind when your opponent enters range to activate tracking.
Strafing and Positioning
While locked on, use WASD to circle your opponent. Your camera will maintain focus while your character moves around them. This lets you:
- Attack from multiple angles without losing sight of your target
- Dodge incoming attacks by moving perpendicular to your opponent
- Maintain aim for bow or crossbow shots while repositioning
Managing Multiple Opponents
In team fights, use Tab to switch between nearby enemies. This is faster than manually turning your camera to track different players.
When to Disengage
Press your Lock On keybind to exit if you need to:
- Sprint away without camera lag
- Quickly look around for allies or escape routes
- Switch to defensive positioning
Remember: lock on is a tool for focus, not a guarantee of victory. Skilled positioning and combat awareness still matter.
