Configure Lock On Keybind and Settings

Finding the Keybind Menu

Open your game settings and navigate to Controls (or Key Binds depending on your launcher). Search for "Lock On" in the keybind list to find the Lock On Mod entry.

Setting Your Preferred Key

Click the Lock On keybind entry and press the key you want to use. Common choices include:

  • Middle Mouse Button: Quick access without moving your hands
  • R or F: Easy reach during combat
  • Thumb Mouse Button: If your mouse supports it

Confirm your selection. The new keybind takes effect immediately.

Testing Your Setup

Load a world and approach a mob. Press your newly bound key to verify lock on activates smoothly. Test Tab switching and pressing the keybind again to exit.

Conflict Resolution

If your chosen key conflicts with another mod or vanilla feature, you'll see a warning. Either choose a different key or rebind the conflicting action in the Controls menu.
