Enable or Disable Localized Chat on Your Server

Locate Server Configuration

If you're running a server with Localized Chat Mod installed, the mod's settings are controlled through the server-side configuration file, not individual client configs. Access your server's config folder and open the Localized Chat configuration.

Toggle the Feature On or Off

Find the enable/disable setting in the config file. Set it to true to activate localized chat filtering for all players, or false to allow global chat messages to pass through normally.

Configure Server-Wide Radius

If enabled, you can set a single radius value that applies to all players on the server. This ensures consistent chat behavior across your entire multiplayer experience.

Restart and Verify

Save your changes and restart the server. Connect as a player and verify that chat filtering is working as expected. All players will now experience the same localized chat radius unless you've configured per-player overrides.
