How to Install and Activate the Oceans Loading Backgrounds Pack

The Oceans pack is a resource pack, not a standalone mod, so it only works when the Loading Backgrounds mod is already present in your mod loader. If you installed the pack but still see the vanilla dirt or panorama screen, the pack is simply not enabled yet.

Placing and Enabling the Pack

1. Drop the Oceans resource pack file into your instance's resourcepacks folder (or use the in-game Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder button).

2. Open Options > Resource Packs and move the Oceans pack from the left column to the right column so it is active.

3. Make sure the pack sits above any other pack that also changes loading screens, since the top pack wins conflicts.

4. Restart the game completely — loading backgrounds are read at startup, so a resource reload alone may not refresh them.

Confirming It Works

Quit to the main menu and re-enter a world. The loading screen should now show ocean imagery instead of the default background. If it does not, verify the Loading Backgrounds mod itself is installed and that no other resource pack is overriding the same files. Keep the pack enabled per-instance; it will not carry over to a different launcher profile automatically.
