Optimize Mod Performance in Modpacks and Multiplayer

Check Compatibility with Your Modpack

The mod is designed to run alongside popular modpacks without causing lag. If you experience stuttering, verify that the mod version matches your game version and that no conflicting animation mods are installed simultaneously.

Adjust Animation Detail Levels

Not all animation features need to be active. Disable cape physics, arrow trails, or mob animations individually if performance drops occur. Most players can run all features simultaneously, but older hardware may benefit from selective disabling.

Multiplayer Server Considerations

Both the server and client benefit from smooth performance. The mod uses client-side rendering for most animations, so it won't significantly impact server tick rate. Ensure all players have the mod installed for consistent visual experience.

Monitor Frame Rate

Use F3 debug screen to watch your FPS while animations are active. If you drop below your target frame rate, disable the most visually intensive feature (typically cape physics) and test again. Most systems see minimal impact from this mod.
