Alchemical Transmutation Basics

Lite Exchange adds a small alchemy system built around exchanging items of equal value. Three items form the core of the mod: the Balance Shard, the Inert Stone, and the reusable Balance Stone.

Balance Shards are your starting ingredient. They drop from hostile mobs at a low chance, so combat is the main way to gather them early on. Once you have shards, you can craft an Inert Stone, which serves as an intermediate component.

From there, the Inert Stone is used to fashion the Balance Stone. Unlike the shards or the inert version, the Balance Stone is reusable, making it the centerpiece of the mod. With it, you can perform alchemical exchanges, converting items into others of equal value rather than simply crafting them.

The loop is straightforward: fight mobs for shards, craft your way up to a Balance Stone, then use it to transmute what you already have.
