How to Exclude Specific Mods from Chunk Cleanup
Why Exclusion Matters
This mod also cleans up chunks that other mods keep loaded through their own chunkloaders. That is usually helpful, but some mods genuinely need their chunks to stay loaded — for example, a mod that runs a long-running machine or a world-generation process. If you exclude those mods, their chunkloaders are left alone while everything else is still cleaned up.
Editing the Exclusion List
Open the mod's config file from your server's config folder. Look for the list that names mods to skip during cleanup. Each entry is a mod identifier, not a display name, so use the same ID that appears in your mods folder or in the mod's metadata. Add one ID per line, matching the existing format exactly — capitalization and spacing matter.
Save the file and restart the server. The exclusion list is read at startup, so changes will not apply until the restart completes.
Testing the Result
After restarting, have a player log out while a chunkloader from an excluded mod is active. Confirm the chunk stays loaded, then repeat with a chunkloader from a non-excluded mod and confirm it is cleaned up. If an excluded mod's chunks still unload, double-check the mod ID spelling against the jar filename.
