Adjust Lightmap Colors to Your Preference
Access Shader Settings
While Lightmap Fixer Shaders is designed to work out-of-the-box, you can fine-tune the color correction to match your taste.
1. Open your shader options menu (usually accessed via Shader Settings in Video Settings)
2. Look for color correction or lightmap adjustment sliders
3. Experiment with warmth and saturation values to find your preferred balance
Test Your Changes
After adjusting settings:
- Visit different biomes to see how block lighting looks in various environments
- Check caves and underground areas where block light is most visible
- Compare torchlight, lava, and glowstone to ensure they feel natural
- Look at how the changes affect wood, stone, and other common blocks
If the lighting feels too cold or too warm, return to settings and make small adjustments. The goal is to restore the classic vanilla feel that matches your memory of older Minecraft versions. Take screenshots before and after changes to help you decide which look you prefer.
