Synchronize Punishments Across Multiple Servers
Network-Wide Moderation
If you run multiple servers, LibertyBans can synchronize bans, mutes, and warnings across your entire network using a shared SQL database. A player banned on one server is automatically banned on all connected servers.
How It Works
LibertyBans uses a centralized database (MariaDB, MySQL, or compatible SQL system) to store all punishment data. When you ban a player on any server in your network, the punishment is instantly recorded and applied to all other servers connected to the same database.
Setup Requirements
1. Configure a shared database that all your servers can access.
2. Point each server's LibertyBans instance to this same database in the plugin configuration.
3. Restart each server to apply the database connection.
Benefits
- Consistent enforcement: No player can escape punishment by switching servers.
- Reduced moderator workload: Issue one ban and it applies network-wide.
- Unified audit trail: All moderators see the same punishment history across all servers.
Performance
LibertyBans is optimized for high-performance, multi-instance setups. Even with hundreds of concurrent players across multiple servers, the plugin maintains minimal overhead.
