How to Set Your Spawn Point and Configure Sleep Behavior on a Server
Spawn Point and Sleep Rules
The Let Me Sleep Mod gives server owners and players control over sleeping behavior, including whether sleeping sets your spawn point. On multiplayer servers this matters a lot, because vanilla only lets you sleep if all players are in bed (or a percentage, depending on the gamerule). The mod's config lets you tune these properties.
Configuring Spawn Point and Sleep Settings
1. Locate the mod's config file in your server's config folder (or use the in-game config screen if the mod provides one).
2. Find the option that controls setting the spawn point on sleep. Enable it if you want sleeping in a bed to reliably set your respawn location — useful on servers where beds are shared or spawn rules are custom.
3. Review the sleep-percentage or player-sleep requirement settings if the mod exposes them. Lowering the requirement lets a single player skip the night without waiting for everyone.
4. Check the mob-highlight and insomnia options too, since these interact with sleep: highlighting helps you find blocking mobs, and disabling insomnia stops phantoms.
5. Save the config and restart the server so changes take effect. Then test by sleeping in a bed and checking your respawn point (die in a safe spot or use a spawn-check command if available).
If spawn point isn't updating, make sure the bed is valid (not obstructed) and that the config option is actually enabled rather than overridden by another mod or the vanilla gamerule.
