How to Get Healed and Receive Effects When You Wake Up
Sleep Rewards Explained
By default, Minecraft only sets your spawn point and skips the night when you sleep. The Let Me Sleep Mod lets you configure what happens after a successful sleep — including healing the player and applying potion effects on wake-up. This is useful for survival players who want sleeping to feel like a real rest that restores health and buffs.
Configuring Wake-Up Effects
1. Open the mod's config file or in-game config screen (accessed through your mod menu or the config folder in your instance).
2. Look for the sleep-effect options. You'll find settings for healing on wake-up and for granting potion effects after sleeping.
3. Enable the healing option so that waking from a full night's rest restores health. The exact amount is controlled by the config value — set it to whatever suits your playstyle.
4. For potion effects, add the effects you want applied on wake-up. Each entry typically needs an effect type and a duration. Common choices are Regeneration, Absorption, or Saturation for a "well-rested" feel.
5. Save the config and restart the world or reload if required. Then sleep in a bed and check your status effects and health when you wake.
If effects aren't applying, confirm the sleep was a full night (not interrupted) and that the options are actually enabled rather than left at their defaults.
