How to Find and Obtain the Secret Elemental Paintings

Locating the Paintings

The four elemental paintings are found in the same way as vanilla paintings. They appear randomly when you place a painting item on a wall, just like the default Minecraft paintings. There is no special crafting recipe or unique spawn location—they're simply added to the painting pool.

Obtaining Them Reliably

To increase your chances of getting a specific elemental painting:

1. Craft or find painting items using the standard painting recipe (wool surrounded by sticks) or loot them from structures.

2. Prepare a 2×2 wall space on any block surface. Since all four secret paintings are 2×2 in size, having a clear 2×2 area makes placement much easier.

3. Place the painting item by right-clicking on the wall. The painting will randomly select from all available paintings in the mod, including vanilla paintings.

4. Repeat the process if you don't get the elemental painting you want. Each placement is a new random roll.

Tips

Place multiple paintings in succession to cycle through options faster. Keep spare painting items on hand so you can quickly replace unwanted paintings. The four elemental paintings (water, fire, earth, and air) will eventually appear through this random process.
