Configuring Your Database Connection

Setting Up Database Storage

Ledger Databases Mod extends the Ledger mod to store log data in external databases instead of local files. To use this mod, you'll need to configure a connection to one of the supported database systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or H2.

Once installed alongside Ledger, the mod allows you to specify your database credentials and connection details in the mod's configuration. Choose which database type your server will use, then provide the necessary connection information such as host, port, username, and database name.

H2 is ideal for single-server setups since it runs embedded without a separate server. MySQL and PostgreSQL are better for larger operations where you need scalability and remote access to your logs. After configuration, Ledger will automatically route all logged data to your chosen database.
