Placing and Loading a Book

To display a book on a lectern with the Lectern Overhaul Mod, first craft or obtain a written book. Place a lectern block in your desired location, then right-click it with the written book in your hand.

Reading the Text

Once placed, the book's text will appear as a 3D display floating above the lectern surface instead of opening a traditional GUI window. This makes the text visible to all nearby players and creates a more immersive reading experience. You can walk around the lectern and view the text from different angles.

To remove the book, right-click the lectern again and the book will return to your inventory. The mod's visual enhancements mean you no longer need to open a separate interface—just place the book and read naturally in the world.
