Speed Up Leaf Decay After Felling a Tree

How Decay Works

When you break the trunk block of any tree, the mod automatically detects all connected leaves of that same type and removes them rapidly.

Steps to Trigger Decay

1. Locate a tree you want to fell completely

2. Break the lowest trunk block with any tool (axe recommended)

3. Watch the leaves disappear — all leaves of that tree type connected to the trunk will decay almost instantly

4. Collect any drops before they despawn

Tips

• The mod only removes leaves attached to the tree you cut. Nearby trees of different types remain untouched, so you can safely fell one tree in a dense forest without affecting neighbors
• Leaves that were already disconnected from a trunk (floating leaves) are not affected by this mod
• The decay happens so quickly you may miss it—stand back slightly to see the effect clearly
